Bin collection day and dates
We carry out alternate week collections for most properties in Preston.
Our bin collection day tool shows you when your bin will be collected over the year and is a useful reminder of when your collections will take place so you don't miss them.
Search for your bin collection day
To view your bin collection day and dates, search for the first line of your address and/or postcode, then select your property using the following tool:
Your bin must be out by 7am on collection day. Bins should be placed at the edge of your property for collection unless you have an alternative collection point.

Bank holiday collections
We collect on all bank holidays apart from:
- Christmas Day
- Boxing Day
- New Years Day
Further information of any changes to your bin collections over the festive period will be provided nearer the time.
