St Peter's Primary School is situated centrally within the polling district. Where we always try to avoid using schools for polling stations there are no other suitable alternatives in this area. The school is accessibility compliant, there is limited parking on site but is well known to electors.
Polling District - SG2
- Area: No change.
- Polling Station: No change.
St Clare's Parish Hall is a very suitable polling place situated within this polling district. It has disabled access, ample parking and is close to transport links. The Hall is also well known to electors. The large hall allows for split polling stations to accommodate larger turnouts.
Polling District - SG3

Fulwood Methodist Church is situated within easy reach of electors in the polling district. It has good disabled access, parking and is well known to electors. There is room to expand in the building if needed.
Polling District - SG4
- Area: No change.
- Polling Station: Proposed to change permanently to St Clare's Parish Hall.
Xavierian Mission served as the polling place for district SG4. However the building has now been sold and a planning permission application submitted for change of use to residential, so we will no longer be able to use this building.
Whilst the building was in a period of sale, the electors in the district had already been using St Clare's Parish Hall which has a large space able to accommodate both districts SG2 and SG4. There is parking available and the building is fully accessible.
We recommend that this arrangement becomes permanent. Although this is situated slightly outside of the district, electors will not be adversely affected as they have voted here for a number of elections already without issue.

Fulwood Library is situated centrally within the polling district. It has disabled access and is well known to electors. There is no parking available on site.
Limiting Factors
- Sharoe Green Ward is split between two County divisions. SG3 belongs to Preston
- Central East division and the rest of the ward belongs to Preston North division.
- The whole ward is in the Ribble Valley Constituency.
