We offer a collection service for bulky waste items that do not fit inside a grey wheeled bin.
Please note: this service is for residential waste only. For business waste visit special business waste collections.
The service is only available to Preston households.

We can collect rolls of carpet. Our collections are carried out by a crew of two. Large amounts of carpet which are too heavy to be moved safely by two people will not be collected.

Please note: you may be able to take some of these items to your local recycling centre, though please check what they accept before making a journey.
The table below explains how much your collection will cost:
* A charge of £7.50 per item will be added to collections over 3 items. A maximum of 6 items can be collected
Certain items count as more than one item for collection. For example, a corner settee in three pieces counts as three items, a small kitchen table and four chairs counts as two.

Items will be collected on your arranged day between 7am and 3:30pm Monday - Friday. We do not collect at the weekend.

Please place your items outside either the night before or morning of the collection. Put all items together in one place. We will only pick up the items you have requested.
If your items are in reasonable condition, you may want to consider donating them to a local charity who will collect free of charge.
