Would you like to stand as a Candidate?

Nomination packs to apply to stand as a candidate at Local and County Elections will be available from early March.

One major part of the nomination pack is guidance from the Electoral Commission.  This guidance is currently being updated due to legislation changes, once the amended guidance has been published we can then print and produce the packs for you.

You will also be able to download a copy of all the documents from this page.  Further details about the availability and collection of printed copies will be provided near the time.

Nomination Packs for the Police and Crime Commissioner Election will be available from Blackburn City Council.

Candidates and Agents Meeting

A meeting of all candidates and agents is scheduled for Thursday 15 April 2021 at 6pm. It is likely this will be a virtual meeting but further details will be provided nearer the time.
