We are pleased to announce the launch of the new Preston City Council website.

The new website has a fresh look and feel, with simpler navigation, streamlined, jargon-free content and an improved site search facility.

As more of you are accessing our website using a mobile or tablet, we've created the site that adapts to the device, meaning you can interact and transact with us on a PC, laptop, tablet or smart phone.

This is not to say the site is perfect. It's not. It's a work in progress.

But in making the site live now, we feel we will be able to capture feedback and solve the problems that affect you.

What's new

On the new site, customers will still be able to access the same services online as before, but with the added benefits of:

  • An improved experience across different devices, such as mobile phones, tablet  and desktop computers;
  • Easier customer access to the most frequently requested services;
  • Easier avenues to pay for, report and request services;
  • Improved security of the site and processes for making payments online 

Improvements to the new site will be on-going with additional content, more online forms and improved use of maps.
