From April 2011, Preston City Council is no longer the Travel Concession Authority for the Preston area. This responsibility has now passed to Lancashire County Council.

Please note that only new applications for a Nowcard will be dealt with by the City Council.
For all other enquiries in connection with lost, stolen and replacement cards and renewals will be dealt with by the Nowcard helpline Monday to Friday (8.00am to 5.00pm) on 0845 058 1096.
Preston concessionary travel pass holders will be able to travel free of charge on any Local bus service anywhere in England (please note the scheme is not valid in Scotland and Wales).
The National travel pass allows free travel on local bus services after 9.30am on weekdays. Travel undertaken before 9.30am will be charged at full fare. The National travel pass will however, allow free travel at any time of the day at weekends and on Bank Holidays.
