This is a pay and display multi storey car park with a 24 hour tariff in operation.

This car park is open 24 hours and has CCTV on levels 1-4 which records 24 hours, and is manned from 6.30am to midnight, seven days a week. Many users of this car park purchase a quarterly car parking permit making substantial savings. For further information please see - Quarterly Car Parking Permits.
Disabled drivers are able to park in the designated disabled bays whilst displaying their valid blue badge for free without time limit. There are seven spaces on level one and nine spaces on level two. If the designated disabled bays are full, blue badge holders may park in any other bay whilst displaying a valid blue badge without time limit, but must not park in any reserved bay. Please note that the lifts are operational only from floor levels 2, 4, 6 and 8 on this car park.
All vehicles parked are required to display a valid pay and display ticket, parking permit or disabled badge. Any vehicle failing to display a valid ticket or permit will be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice.

If you are attending a function at either the Guildhall or the Charter Theatre there is the facility of purchasing a reduced parking ticket. For further information please contact the box office on 0845 344 2012 (standard rate).
Important information - for personal safety all users of the bus station are requested to enter and exit the bus station concourse by using the subways, or the new pedestrian walkways at the north and south ends of the bus station and not by crossing the bus aprons.
Many coaches use the bus station for picking up and dropping off travellers who are going on day trips or coach holidays.

Booking coaches in for special events such as brass band competitions, school events or any other event can be done in advance. Please contact our office for advice on bay availability and payment arrangements. Please also see the bus station rules which can be found in the documents section.
