Mass Participation Sky Ride

Sky Ride Local

  • Free, weekly small group bikes for you and your friends and family. 
  • Led by a British Cycling trained leader for support and tips, whatever your ability level.

Breeze - Bike rides for women

Preston on Wheels

Preston On Wheels (POW) is a Target Wellbeing project which promotes recreational cycling for all. The sessions are suitable for the complete beginner to experienced rider and cater for all abilities.

*Each session will last for 1 hour. Cost is free, but donations are accepted to help towards the upkeep of the bikes and refreshments. Venue is located at Moor Park Football Pavillion.

These sessions use a selection of adapted cycles which allows adults of all abilities to have the opportunity to ride. The adapted cycles are appropriate for frail and older participants, those with varying disabilities, weight management clients, and any adult wishing to improve their levels of activity.

*Meeting point at Grange Park is the interpretation centre and for Avenham Park is the Frenchwood Recreation area. Cost of the ride is free, but donations are accpeted to help towards the upkeep of the bikes and refreshments.

A series of guided rides through green spaces, predominantly 'off road' around Preston. The rides are one hour long and finish with a social gathering and refreshments.
