From 1 March 2012, the reception at Lancastria House will close. From that date, customers will only be able to access our offices if an appointment with the relevant officer has been made in advance.
Recent planning applications can be viewed online - search planning applications. Older applications can usually be made available online on request. Planning applications can also be viewed on a computer at the Town Hall reception.
Should you wish to view a hard copy of a planning application or see an officer, you will need to make an appointment. Please email us at devcon@preston.gov.uk or phone 01772 906912. Appointments will be available between 10.00am and 12.00pm and 2.00pm and 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.
Planning applications will need to be submitted either electronically via the Planning Portal or by post. Building Control applications can continue to be submitted electronically via our Building Control pages, by e-mail to buildingcontrol@preston.gov.uk or by post.
We also have the facility to take payments for both Planning and Building Control applications online or over the phone by credit or debit card. Site inspections and appointments with Building Control surveyors can be arranged online via our site inspections page or over the phone. We will continue to offer a same day service for appointments booked before 10.00am.
Over the forthcoming weeks and months we will continue to enhance the level of information available online, including a GIS facility that will make it possible to search for planning applications and other related information spatially.
