We support a wide range of Voluntary Community and Faith Sector (VCFS) organisations and groups in Preston. The VCFS are valued partners and deliver essential services to local people.
We make an annual budgetary provision via the Community Grant Scheme. The grant is used to support projects that meet the criteria within the Council's corporate policy on funding of the VCFS.
The council's corporate policy on funding the VCFS is currently undergoing a review and a revised policy will be available in January 2012.
The VCFS will be consulted and have an opportunity to input during the review process.
