If your property requires a Mandatory House in Multiple Occupation (HMO) license, you need to apply to us. You will need to send us some additional information along with the required fee as we have to charge to cover the cost of administering the scheme. Applications can be made by a landlord or by another appropriate person such as a managing agent.
You can start the process by telephoning or e-mailing the Housing Standards Team who will then send you a licence application pack, or you can download the application form and supporting information from the documents section.
