Grange Park is situated on Mitton Drive, off Ribbleton Hall Drive on the East side of the city.
The park provides a place for formal and informal sport, recreation and play.
It became Preston’s first Green Flag park during 2002-03 and has retained this status every year since. The Green Flag Award is given to a park in recognition of the high standards of maintenance, community involvement and its overall management.
Public car parking is available on site and is accessed from Mitton Drive.
Established in 1997, the Friends of Grange Park work in partnership with the Park Ranger and the council’s Park’s Development team. The Friends play a major role in the organisation of community events and contribute towards management decisions, they also help raise funding for improvements and new facilities.
