Remember the following top tips to help you look after your bins and boxes and get the most out of your refuse and recycling collections.

• Put your house number on all your bins, boxes and lids.
• Use your "Simply Recycling" Refuse and Recycling Guide to help you sort your waste correctly.
• Keep your collection calendar handy to remind you when you should put your bins and boxes out for collection.
• If you have too much material for one box contact Neighbourhood Services to order additional boxes or place extra recyclables out for collection in untied carrier bags.
• Make sure your bins and boxes are out by 7.00am on the day of your collection.
• Return your bins and boxes to your property as soon as practically possible after collection to avoid them being stolen or damaged.
• Wait until after 3.00pm to report missed bins and boxes.
