Preston Strategic Partnership Executive

The Preston Strategic Partnership (PSP) Executive is responsible to the PSP Conference (Assembly) and is made up of senior representatives from the key public, private, community and voluntary agencies in Preston.

The Executive focuses on issues where there is a clear benefit from partners working together to deliver improved services to Preston's community. These issues are identified in the Preston Community Strategy and in other information on life in Preston. 

The Executive meets 4 times each year. 

Role of Executive

  • Helps to ensure that the priorities of the Children's Trust, Community Safety Partnership and Health Group are co-ordinated
  • Promote regeneration via Preston Vision Ltd (and support its members to ensure high quality engagement of the community via the Voluntary and Community Sector and other mechanisms)
  • Reviewing progress on State of Preston indicators (to be determined) which are not within remit of other Groups
  • Receiving and discussing information or other items from Fora and other related Groups and Task Groups as appropriate
  • Convene an Annual Conference (Assembly) and account to that Conference (Assembly)
  • Oversee the distribution of funds at the disposal of the PSP

  • Lancashire Fire and Rescue
  • NHS Central Lancashire
  • Preston Community Network
