Preston Community Strategy

Preston Community Strategy summarises the purpose and remit of the Preston Strategic Partnership (PSP) and is a key document for all the organisations represented on the PSP. The current Community Strategy covers 2011 - 2014.

Vision

The vision is that Preston will be a growing vibrant city in the North West.

Themes

The themes in the Community Strategy were chosen by members of the PSP because they are priorities for Preston where the PSP can help to make a difference.

The Preston Community Strategy 2011-2014 contains the following themes:

  • Children and Young People
  • Community safety
  • Health
  • Prosperity

An action plan had been produced for each theme of the Community Strategy containing actions which are designed to help deliver improvements for that theme.
