How to vote

NO VOTE NO VOICE

In order for you to vote at an election your name must first appear on the Register of Electors.

There are three ways in which you can vote:

  • In person
  • By post
  • By proxy

If you are a British, Irish or Commonwealth citizen you can vote at all elections held in the UK.

If you are an EU citizen you can vote at Local Elections and also European Parliamentary Elections, however to vote in the European Parliamentary Elections you will need to request to vote in the UK instead of your Member State.
