Committee meetings are where all the major decisions for the council are taken.

You can attend most meetings of the council, although usually you won’t be able to speak at them. There is however a facility to ask a question at Public question time. Questions must be submitted beforehand.
Please be aware that you may be asked to leave the meeting at certain points if, for example, a confidential item is being discussed.
