Involving people in deciding how their services are provided is important in helping to make Preston a better place to live.

Local services

Examples of services are street cleanliness, facilities for young people and older people, helping people improve their health, supporting people into employments and reducing antisocial behaviour.

Neighbourhood Working Task Group

The Preston Strategic Partnership (PSP) Neighbourhood Working task group - responsible for helping to further develop working at a neighbourhood level between organisations providing services

Opportunities to get involved

Opportunities are available through Preston City Council and other PSP partners, for people to participate and these include:

• Neighbourhood Management Partnerships cover part of Preston- there are 4 of these and the Neighbourhood Engagement Team
• Area Forums – there are 5 forums each covering part of Preston.
• Police and Community Together (PACT) meetings – these are held throughout Preston.
• Community Gateway Involvement Areas
