Cast confirmed for Preston's biggest ever pantomime!

Award-winning Guild Hall Productions has announced a glittering cast list for its highly anticipated production of Cinderella this Christmas. The casting for their first ever step in to the world of professional pantomime has caused a great deal of speculation over the past few weeks.
Topping the bill is one of Lancashire’s best known comedians and actors,
TED ROBBINS. Currently enjoying huge success as ‘The Guv’nor’ on CBBC’s hit show The Slammer, Ted has suddenly found himself a whole new generation of fans.
But with a career that reads like an A to Z of British entertainment, it’s a wonder how the Liverpool born entertainer has had time to cram so much in. Born in to a showbiz family (his second cousin is Paul McCartney), Ted and all his sisters were destined for a life in entertainment. You may know him as the dastardly Den Perry, the man who burnt down the Phoenix Club in Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights, or as the jovial morning voice of BBC Radio Lancashire, but one thing’s for sure… you’ll have seen him, or heard him in something!! As well as starring as Baron Hardup, Ted is also the director of the show. His immense experience, comic skills and knowledge, guarantee Preston audiences a show not to be missed this Christmas!
Joining the cast as Prince Charming is Welsh born actor GARETH DAVID-LLOYD.
An experienced stage actor, Gareth is currently well known to sci-fi fans as the alien-battling hero Lanto Jones, in both Dr Who and its spin-off series Torchwood.
The very young members of the audience will be thrilled to see FIFI FORGET-ME-NOT appearing as The Flowertot Fairy. Fifi is known to millions of pre-school children as the lovable green-fingered character from the hugely successful series, Fifi and the Flowertots.
Every pantomime needs a character for you to boo loudly at, and this production is no exception. Blackpool’s own, wickedly funny BETTY LEGS DIAMOND will be making Cinderella’s life a misery as one of her hilariously dysfunctional step-sisters.
This being a fairytale, we of course need a Fairy Godmother and who better than BBC Radio Lancashire’s lunchtime presenter SALLY NADEN.
And last, but definitely not least, we have our beautiful Cinderella played by JODIE HAMBLET. Jodie has been performing from a young age and has already amassed a list of TV credits (Coronation Street, Shameless, Life On Mars & Linda Green) and theatre performances that defy her age. Couple that with an amazing singing voice and we are sure audiences are going to see a lot more of this very talented young lady.
Following months of preparation and negotiation by Producer (and Guild Hall General Manager) CHRIS HAYLETT, this impressive line-up has been unveiled to launch Guild Hall Productions in to the world of professional theatre, bringing good old-fashioned values back to a much-loved Preston tradition. With the return of a live band and real ponies to take Cinders to the ball, the production values of the Charter Theatre pantomime have never been higher.
Boasting a wealth of local home-grown talent, alongside a host of well known stars of television and theatre, the future looks bright for Preston theatre-goers!..... Oh Yes It Does!!!
