Welcome to the Food Safety Team. The Team is committed to protecting the health and wellbeing of consumers in Preston, and much of our work concerns our dual role of education and enforcement in food production, catering and retail premises.

The Team is responsible for enforcing a range of food hygiene legislation in all food premises in the City. We also work with other agencies and organisations to contribute towards health for all.
