The Mayor of Preston, Councillor Keith Sedgewick is supporting two main charities throughout his Mayoral year.

The Mayor has chosen North West Air Ambulance which provides a “Care from the Air” service in the event of serious accidents in which the speed of medical care is crucial,

The second charity The Mayor has chosen is the Preston and District Veterans Council which consists of 20 ex-service associations across all three armed services. This Council ensures that the roles played and sacrifices made by veterans in the many conflicts are not forgotten, and that help is available for veterans in need.

Also throughout the year we will also be looking for other “Good Causes”.
