Councillor Keith Sedgewick was Mayor of Preston from May 2009 - May 2010. Keith has served on Preston Council for nine years, representing the Ashton ward. He has served on various committees, including Planning, Resources and Environment Committees and has served as a Cabinet Member for Environment and was Chair of the Employment Committee and also its Appeals Plan.

Councillor Sedgewick is married to Patricia and they have two grown up children and two grandchildren. Keith recently retired from BAe in Warton, Lancashire and prior to this the majority of his working life was spent in the Royal Air Force.
