Investment prospectus

Front cover of the City Centre Investment Prospectus

The Preston City Centre Investment Prospectus was launched on Wednesday 25 April 2012.

Outlining the development opportunities in the city centre, the investment prospectus sets out Preston’s key assets and demonstrates the unified approach of the city council, Lancashire County Council and the University of Central Lancashire towards development in the city.

The Investment Prospectus sends out a rallying call to developers and investors to be a part of Preston’s future growth in partnership with the councils and Preston Vision.

Jim Carter, Chairman, Preston Vision and Deputy Chairman, Eric Wright Group, provides the following introduction to the document.

I am delighted to introduce the Preston City Centre Investment Prospectus which outlines a new approach to delivering much needed development and investment in the city centre of Preston.

As Chair of Preston Vision, a public/private partnership of business and civic leaders, I am committed to supporting all efforts to generate market confidence and belief in the city centre as a first class opportunity for investment.

Private sector investment is essential if the potential of Preston is to be fully realised over the coming years.

The city and county councils are demonstrating a new resolve to collaborate and address the current challenging market conditions.

There is a wide range of opportunities and the city centre is open for business. We look forward to helping you deliver your plans.
