Red carpet treatment

Earlier this week I took a trip to the University of Central Lancashire for some red carpet treatment at a special film premiere!

Over the past few months our communications department has been working with animation students at UCLan to produce a number of short animated films that tell the public more about the council’s different services. We had the pleasure of viewing the final cuts during our visit, and I was extremely impressed with the results. The students that have been involved are very talented and have produced some outstanding work. They are clearly enjoying their studies and have put a lot of time and effort into producing their films, so I would like to say a big 'well done' to them all.

It won’t be too long before the films will be available to view on the council’s website and YouTube page. They will join more videos created by UCLan, with some film students also getting in on the action and producing another 12 short clips. Take a look at them on the council's Youtube channel.
