
Preston is based at the heart of the North West in the colourful county of Lancashire.
Travelling to and from Preston is surprisingly easy since the city is a major focus of rail and road networks.
The M6 motorway links Preston with the rest of the country the M61, M62 and M65 provide quick access to the North, South, and East of the country. Plus the A59 dual carriageway provides good links from West to East through the centre of Preston and across Lancashire.
Preston also has a large railway station which is a central route on many high-speed main lines and it has the biggest bus station in the country.

Manchester and Liverpool airports are all close by and provide travel both nationally and Internationally.
Ireland and the Isle of Man are easily reached by air from Blackpool or by cross-channel coach services or ferry from Heysham, Liverpool, Fleetwood and Holyhead.
