Located opposite Preston Town Hall, the Guild Hall and Charter Theatre are the city's premier entertainment venues. The more traditional Charter Theatre seats 780 people theatre-style, while the multi-purpose Grand Hall can seat up to 2,000 guests.

Operating side by side they offer a range of events throughout the year - from the latest chart-topping bands and high-profile stage productions, to conferences and sporting events.

Over the years the Guild Hall has seen visits from big names in the entertainment industry, including Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Elton John and David Bowie, and has hosted prestigious sporting events, such as world snooker, international darts and international badminton.
