Using the search
The advanced search allows the selection of additional criteria to allow a further filtering of matches.
The terms that are found within the search box will be extracted and Stemmed (i.e. A search for Housing will include house, housed etc)
Use the tabbed links to switch between the search locations.
Word Match
This allows you to specify the level of matching used in the search concepts you provide.
Results Per page
his setting controls the number of results per page that are returned.
Date
This allows you specify a time period to only return pages that occur within it.
Find in title only
Find the specified terms in the title of the document only.
Punctuation
There are several special punctuation characters that can be used to enhance the search. These are the + character which may be used to mark individual words and concepts as mandatory. The - charcter may be used to mark individual words or concepts as excluded. The " character is only used in diabling the stemming in single word phrases. All other punctuation is removed
